Man stabbed at North Jersey restaurant, suspect arrested, authorities say

A man accused of stabbing a person inside an Oakland restaurant Thursday afternoon was arrested shortly after, authorities said.
Jose Higinio Ramos Solis, 34, of Oakland, was charged with attempted murder and weapons-related offenses, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office announced Friday.
Police were called to Cafe L’Amore at 455 Ramapo Valley Road shortly before 3 p.m. on Thursday and found that a 53-year-old man had been approached and stabbed by another man with a large knife, the office said.
Authorities alleged the attacker was Ramos Solis.
The man was taken to a local hospital for treatment. His condition was not released by investigators Friday.
Ramos Solis fled the scene, but was apprehended nearby by police, officials said.
Nobody at the restaurant who could speak about the incident was able to be reached for comment Friday.
Romos Solis was taken to the Bergen County Jail where he was held until his first court appearance in Bergen County Superior Court, the office said.
